Approach for Today & Tomorrow

Terrestrial digital broadcasting reception equipment

antenna for terrestrial digital broadcastingHouseholds with devices for receiving digital broadcasting programs have been increasing steadily, as we are approaching the initiation of nationwide digital broadcasting by the end of 2006.
Since conventional analog broadcasting comes to an end in 2011, we expect a substantial increase in the demand for terrestrial digital reception-related equipment such as antennas and tuners from potential customers in up to 47 million households in Japan.

DST62HWith all broadcasting systems digitized, all cable TV sets are required to respond to digital broadcasting transmissions, and each household needs to set up a digital STB (Set Top Box) device.Maspro is promoting "digital" CATV by releasing the latest digital STB models.

FTTH Optical transmission-related equipment (Fiber To The Home)

Optical receiverFTTH systems that connect the service center to each household via optical fiber have become popular in buildings using various transmission systems, such as CATV and Master Antenna Systems.Maspro promotes numerous modes of broadcasting and telecommunication systems via optical transmission, such as WDM (wavelength division multiplex ), which can transmit not only visual images but also Internet communication signals on a single optical fiber, and ultra wideband transmission, which directly transmits Satellite broadcasting.

TTL (Transmitter to Transmitter Link)

Transmitter/ReceiverIn December 2003, Terrestrial Digital Broadcasting started, but it does not mean Digital Broadcasting is available everywhere.Due to the geographical obstacles, such as Mountains, Islands, there are some areas where you cannot receive Digital Signals.Maspro, with the advice from NHK, has started to co-develop TTL equipment for Terrestrial Digital Broadcasting in order to cover fringe areas, such as Mountainous regions, Islands. This kind of work is Masprofs Expertise because we have a long history and lots of know-how of RF Technology and the harmonization with digital technology.

GAP FILLER for Terrestrial Digital Broadcasting

GAP FILLER For Terrestrial Digital BroadcastingInstalling receivers at the Areas where Digital Signal is hard to be reached, such as Mountainous regions, Underground Shops, Covered Parking Lot, and then transmitted Digital Signals by the optical fibers or coaxial cables, Digital Signal re-transmitted through the Transmission Antennas.Maspro is the first supplier in Japan for the GAP Filler for Terrestrial Digital Broadcasting to OJIRO TV ASSOCIATION (Hyogo Prefecture).

Passive Millimeter-Wave Imaging System

Passive Millimeter-Wave Imaging SystemAll natural materials including Human always radiate thermal noise in Millimeter-Wave range. Especially, the thermal noise from the Human Body, which has the body temperature, is stronger than the other object thermal noise. So this system is to do image-processing by forming images corresponding to power distribution of Millimeter-Wave. Millimeter-Wave can propagate through clothes, paper, or even fire and smoke. This feature differentiate from the Infrared camera, which detects only the surface temperature of objects, and this system can identify concealed threat objects.

EMC Testing Antenna

Electronic Control Systems in the Automobiles are designed not to be affected by the radio waves from the outside. Effect of the radio wave outside may cause the mal-functioning or troubles and may lead to severe accidents. EMC testing antennas are using at the gMeasuring Siteh of Automobile Parts manufacturers, to check the effect/impact of the outside radio wave to the other electric devices.
